What is a back-order?

Back-order: A product has already been released but has temporarily sold out.

Back-orders allow you to pay for a product when it is out of stock, and helps ensure you won't miss out on the next shipment. We ship the stock to you as soon as it arrives in our warehouse.

If my item is on back-order

Step 1 Order Confirmed

Once your order is confirmed, your product is allocated against an incoming shipment. This secures your place in an incoming shipment, although estimated dispatch dates may change from time to time.

Step 2 Estimated Dispatch Dates

Our Customer Support Team will provide an estimated dispatch date where reasonably possible.

Estimated dates are based on the latest information available but may occasionally change due to factors outside our control, including:

  • manufacturing schedules
  • international shipping
  • customs processing
  • freight network delays

Step 3 Updates

We'll aim to keep you informed throughout the process and provide regular updates where there are meaningful changes to your estimated dispatch date or order status.

Step 4 Dispatch

Once your stock arrives at our warehouse and your order is ready for dispatch, we'll email your tracking details.

If your order contains both in-stock and back-order products, we'll generally dispatch everything together unless we've agreed otherwise.

Once your order has been dispatched, our Shipping & Delivery page explains what happens next, including tracking, delivery timeframes and delivery information.

What is a pre-order?

Pre-order: A product hasn't been released yet or isn't available for sale yet.

Should we have limited stock on a newly-launched product, pre-ordering allows you to secure your order and ensures you don't miss out on new product releases.

Why can estimated dates change?

Our products are manufactured overseas.

While we use our best endeavours to provide accurate estimates, factors outside our control may occasionally affect delivery schedules, including:

  • production schedules
  • international shipping
  • customs clearance
  • port congestion
  • freight delays

We'll always keep you informed if your estimated dispatch date changes.
